Joint Symposium on Agricultural Greenhouse Gas Emissions - Measuring and Monitoring
MAY 9 2023
The joint symposium is organised in collaboration with the Nordic Field Trial Network and will be focused on cutting-edge and current techniques for measuring and monitoring agricultural GHGs from soil
DATE: 23. MAY 2023, 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM
PLACE: Online
Agricultural soils are one of the largest contributors to global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. It is crucial to develop and deploy effective measurement and monitoring systems to ensure generation of robust emission data needed to support policy decisions concerning climate change mitigation.
Join the symposium to learn more about different techniques and get a better understanding of which option suits which purpose. There will also be the possibility to discuss and share knowledge with representatives from various sectors working on GHG emission from soil.
The joint symposium is organised in collaboration with the Nordic Field Trial Network. The network is a co-operation across the Nordic countries in development, planning, execution and statistical analysis of field trials. The activities in the network are coordinated in a collaboration between the Danish Technological Institute, SLU Feltförsk, NIBIO and SEGES. Further information about the Nordic field trial network can be found here.
